If you are self-motivated, like a challenge, and be prepared to work and study towards a National Diploma in Civil Engineering (Applied) then we would like to hear from you.

Details of the opportunity can be obtained from Tracye Stedman, Personnel Officer, phone (03) 440 0628; or by email: tas@codc.govt.nz.  If you would like to discuss details of the position please contact Murray Washington on (03) 440 0614.  Applicants should submit a CV with their application.

GIS Officer

Council has an assets management system (BizeAsset) which is closely linked to the GIS.

Our current GIS Officer is off to Wellington, but he leaves BizeAsset in excellent shape.

We need to make sure it stays that way, but is also developed further, so that the information held in the system can be used to help staff in their asset management roles.

So!
If you:
.  Have experience of working with databases and manipulating the data
.  Are a self starter

Why not take on the challenge of improving on our existing use of BizeAsset?

An understanding of GIS would be advantageous. Full training will of course be given on the BizeAsset system if it is new to you.

A copy of the job description may be obtained by contacting Tracye Stedman, Personnel Officer, phone (03) 440 0628; or by email tas@codc.govt.nz

Applications close Friday, 1 August and are to be addressed to:
