From 6pm tomorrow, Tuesday 5 December, State Highway 8 through Roxburgh will reopen to all traffic.
From then on, from Wednesday 6 December, there will be up to 5-minute delays and speed restrictions/traffic management at various work sites.
Over-dimension vehicles will be guided through the sites with prior arrangement through NZTA.
A Boil Water Notice remains in place for Roxburgh and Lake Roxburgh Village residents. The good news is that Council has lifted the 'conserve water' advisory as reservoirs are now back to strength.
There are no planned water shut-downs for Roxburgh this week. Residents will be given at least 24 hours' notice of any future planned maintenance that requires a shut down.
