Council advertises all its tenders via the Local Government e-tendering website - www.lgtenders.co.nz
This e-tendering website is used by almost all New Zealand local authorities to advertise their tenders.
To use this system and to access the tenders being called by various councils, you must first be a registered supplier. Visit the LGTenders New Zealand website to see more.

Website and CMS Project – Stage 1
Queenstown Lakes and Central Otago Libraries operate a shared services model that includes a shared website. This model maximises the benefits and services available to customers across the combined network. The website is currently located at http://libraries.codc-qldc.govt.nz.
The current website does not meet the needs of the network and a project is now underway to develop a responsive, navigable, contemporary tool that provides a great customer experience.
The purpose of this EOI is to build a list of appropriate providers to invite to quote for the work in detail.
The redesign project will be delivered in two stages:
- Project scoping exercise – to be completed within 6 weeks of appointment
- Website and CMS Redesign – to be completed within 12 weeks of stage 1 sign off
Those interested in being invited to compete for the project, must be able to demonstrate experience and competence in:
- Responsive design principles
- NZ Government Web Standards
- Projects of a similar nature
Your EOI should include:
- An overview of your business and key contacts
- Three case studies showcasing similar projects and the competencies outlined above
- Referees from previous projects
By issuing this EOI, Queenstown Lakes and Central Otago Libraries are not committing to proceed with the project in part or in full, or with any particular party.
Please submit your EOI no later than 5pm on Friday 10 March. It should be sent in pdf format to:
firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com
Once all EOIs have been reviewed, appropriate applicants will be invited to quote for stage 1 activity. Quotes for stage 2 activity will be requested once the scope has been finalised after stage 1.
Please direct any questions or queries in writing via email to both parties named above.
