​Alexandra Water Supply – Taste and Odour

Water Services Update - Monday 13 February 2023

Contact Energy is currently reducing the level of the Clutha/Mata-Au in order to extract gravel from the lower Manuherekia River.
When the river level drops, we know that this can result in a change to the taste and odour of the Alexandra drinking water supply.
