We're working on an upcoming project to replace the Bridge Hill Rising Main.
This means CODC and its contractors will be completing ground investigation work to assess the feasibility of installing a new dedicated water supply rising main servicing the Bridge Hill area, from Monday 20 March for approximately two weeks.
This new water main will provide greater resilience and operational enhancements to the Bridge Hill community’s water supply. Initially work will involve assessing ground conditions in the areas indicated in the plan (below) through a series of site investigations.
The purpose of these investigations is to gain knowledge and understanding of how difficult/easily the rock located in these areas will be to excavate.
It is expected that there will be noise and vibration experienced during the trials. Our contractors will be measuring and recording this information to ensure it is kept within a reasonable level.
