Delays to building inspections and enquiries due to staff training

Our Building Team will be undertaking staff training as part of the preparation for the implementation of the Objective Build system, a new end-to-end building consenting system.
During this training period, there may be some delays to building inspections and responses to customer enquiries. While the team will continue to prioritise urgent matters and meet statutory timeframes wherever possible, some services may take slightly longer than usual.
This upgrade supports CODC’s commitment to improving service delivery for our community and ratepayers. Objective Build will provide a more efficient, transparent, and streamlined building consenting process.
CODC is scheduled to go live with the new system by the end of May 2026.
