Due to the freezing temperatures, the water tanks that were previously located on Swimming Dam Road, Naseby have been moved to a sunnier spot next to the shower and toilet block inside the Holiday Park. There will be signage at the camp entrance directing you to the tanks.
Update 26 June 2026 - 3.35pm
Naseby Boil Water Advisory:
- The advisory remains in place.
- The plant is producing compliant water and the reservoir level has returned to >90%.
- Network flushing will start today and continue over the weekend. Three days consecutive bacteriological sampling will begin on Monday, assuming all goes well with flushing.
Ranfurly Conserve Water Notice:
- The notice remains in place.
- The treatment plant continues to operate within compliance limits at low flows.
Boil Water Notice 22 June 2026 – Naseby
A Boil Water Advisory for Naseby visitors and residents is in place from 4pm, 22 June 2026.
Please boil all water used for:
- Drinking
- Brushing teeth
- Food preparation and cooking
- Making ice, baby formula and juice
Bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute, then allow it to cool naturally before use.
Drinking water tankers will be located at:
- Derwent Street, adjacent to public reserve and toilets
- Corner of Larch Ave and Swimming Dam Road, entrance to the campground - 8 Swimming Dam Road.
We will advise when water conditions improve, and the boil water notice can be lifted.

Conserve Water Notice 22 June 2026 – Ranfurly
Due to heavy rainfall over the weekend, a Conserve Water Notice is now in effect for Ranfurly.
The rainfall has affected our water sources, making it difficult to produce clean water. While we are unable to produce clean water, we are relying on stored water supplies.
To help manage these resources, please reduce your water usage. By conserving water we can extend the stored water supplies.
