Phoenix Palm Removal on Cheviot Street

Weather permitting, Aurora will be undertaking the removal of the Phoenix Palms on Cheviot Street, Roxburgh, on Wednesday 15 July.

Following many years of annual trimming to keep these palms clear of overhead power lines, new legislation regarding trees and overhead wires means removal is now the only viable option.

While we are reluctant to see them go, our team will plant replacement trees later this winter away from the wires to ensure they do not cause the same problem in the future.
