Are you prepared to help take Central Otago Libraries in a bold new direction?
Central Otago District Council has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised, customer-focused individual to join our Library team based in Cromwell but will be district-wide. This is a full-time fixed-term position until 30 June 2022, working Monday to Friday with the occasional evening and weekend when events are planned.
As part of the Central Otago District Council library team, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering exciting and innovative programmes and events to all age groups across the district while working closely with library colleagues, education facilities, and community groups. You will also have excellent customer service experience and an interest in working with a diverse range of people in a busy and changing environment.
As the successful candidate, you will be outgoing, confident speaking to groups, arranging author visits, telling stories to children, and organising interactive activities for the preschoolers.
