Bridge 152 – Paerau Road Update
Road Conditions and Closures
Thank you for your patience while we began repair work on Bridge 152 at Paerau Road.
Unfortunately, once work was underway, we discovered the bridge requires more extensive repairs than originally anticipated. We’ve completed all improvements that were possible at this stage and have installed a temporary steel plate to keep the bridge safely open while we seek further engineering advice.
More comprehensive repairs will be planned and completed once we have clearer information on the required scope of work.
While the steel plate is in place, the following speed limits apply:
30 km/h for light vehicles
10 km/h for heavy vehicles
These limits are in place to ensure everyone’s safety.
We’ll continue to keep you updated as we progress with repairs on this important roading link.
