Paerau Road - Bridge 152 Closure

From 26 October to 16 December 2026, Paerau Road - Bridge 152 will be closed due to the bridge deck being replaced and the bridge piles being strengthened to increase the bridge capacity for heavy vehicle loading.

Alternative route via Linnburn Runs Road > Puketoi Runs Road > Puketoi Road. School Bus drop off and pick up will remain at the bridge with children being escorted over the temporary pedestrian bridge crossing.

Note to heavy vehicles, Bridge 153 on the detour has a posting of Class 1 Gross, 5.5T axle and a 10km/hr speed limit.
