Tree removal work is starting today at Alexandra Pines, alongside Clyde–Alexandra Road/SH8.
A recent assessment identified several dead, dying and potentially hazardous pine trees that could pose a risk to road users and people visiting the area. Council is removing the highest-risk trees to help improve public safety.
This work is limited to identified hazardous trees and does not involve removing the entire Alexandra Pines block.
Contractors and machinery will be operating in the area, and access to some parts of the Pines may be restricted while work is underway.
Please keep clear of work areas and follow all signage and contractor directions.
