Gimmerburn Cemetery

Situated in the heart of the Maniototo is Gimmerburn, a proud and strong agricultural community. Its tidy and peaceful cemetery was established in 1887 and is set amongst a stand of mature trees.

The cemetery contains many of the descendants of the Gimmerburn community and continues to be used today.

Located just off the Gimmerburn-Naseby Road, this cemetery is administered and maintained by the Gimmerburn Cemetery Trust. All burials and records are managed by the Trust and Council holds a copy of the records at the Ranfurly Service Centre.
