Transfer Station Waste Acceptance Table
At the moment LPG cylinders and used engine oils are not accepted at the transfer stations. However, the Solid Waste team are working to resolve the situations:
- LPG cylinders – these will be accepted at the Alexandra, Cromwell and Roxburgh transfer stations in the New Year when the new storage containers arrive for safe storage at each site.
- Used engine oils – these will be accepted at the Alexandra and Cromwell transfer stations within the next couple of months when the new storage containers arrive for safe storage at each site.
Please hold onto these items until the storage containers have arrived at the transfer stations. You can contact waste@codc.govt.nz to advise of your interest in disposing of either of these items, and the Solid Waste team can get in touch when these storage containers have arrived on site and are ready for use.
