keep you and other road users safe. Council has developed specific accessway
construction policies to guide safe and effective design. See Section 29 of the

Constructing or Altering a Vehicle Crossing
Any new vehicle crossing or modification to an existing one requires Council approval.
To apply, you will need to provide:
- A site plan or architect’s sketch showing property boundaries to scale
- A plan showing the proposed crossing location with dimensions and its position relative to property boundaries
- A plan marking existing (or proposed) features that may affect the crossing location, such as, trees, power or streetlight poles, transformers, drainage sumps or manholes, fire hydrants, valves, stormwater outlets or redundant crossings
- Additional information may be requested once your application is reviewed.
